Sara Scott

About me

Sara qualified as a physiotherapist in 2009, graduating from Kings College, London. Starting her physiotherapy career in the NHS; Sara developed her core skills before following her passion and specialising in neurology. Sara has worked in varied settings, including the internationally renowned National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London in addition to community settings in patients own homes.

Throughout her career, Sara has gained extensive experience working with people with a wide range of neurological conditions including stroke, spinal cord injury, neuromuscular disorders and post neurological surgery. Sara places huge importance on treating each person in a holistic manner. By working collaboratively, to create individualised treatment programmes, thereby helping people to achieve their goals whether that is to regain, optimise or adjust to life with a neurological condition.

Sara is committed to continuing professional development and has training in the use of electrical stimulation, splinting, and spasticity management.

Sara founded Neuro Physio in 2020 and alongside this role, currently works as a team lead physiotherapist in a NHS acute stroke unit. Sara enjoys looking after her daughter and going out for runs with her dog, Sadie or reading a good book on the sofa!

All members of Neuro Physio are HCPC registered, members of Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists interested in Neurology (ACPIN).
